My long weekend.

      Rylee’s long weekend. 

The BIG idea: We want our writing to be interesting and exciting to read.. We are focusing on describing words. We are remembering to include: Colour Shape Texture Size To use similes		Remember to: I will re read my sentence to make sure it makes sense. I will think about how I will structure my writing and use my plan

I will find the describing words in my writing. I will write similes in my writing.
I will add describing words to describe how I think things look and feel.

 

Bang!!! went my head as I walked into the door it felt like a brick fell on my head. Seconds later Ollie said “ I  want to go swimming” then Dad got a snapchat from Gavin. Then Dad said “later do you want to go on the mudslide” Me and Ollie said “ok”. 2 hours later. Dad said get changed into your togs ok me and Ollie said.

 

 mum was getting the big, heavy and gray boat ready. Dad Put  the boat into the water from our house. Mum yelled don’t forget to put your life jacket on ok mum I said. Ollie’s was in the shape of a circle.

 

We Jumped into the boat as some kayakers rowed down the river.  Mum said watch out for the island and finally we got to Gavin's place.  there was a giant mudslide. It was as hot as hot cole as I got to the water. It felt like a million ice cubes after an hour it was time to have dinner. We had chicken salad
